Almost all long range cordless phones are designed primarily for voice transmission. Some of these phones may have a built in RJ-11 telephone jack, but this jack is designed for the use of an extension phone, not a data device. Data is a lot more difficult to transmit than voice, and this is the reason that most of the phones on the market can not transmit data (even though they may have an RJ-11 jack). The SX30 is designed primarily for transmitting data. We have tested this device over a variety of conditions and have found it to be very reliable.
The SX30 works up to 70km from the telephone line. It may be configured to work at a fixed site location, such as an isolated residence, or it may be used in a vehicle (we recommend a stationary vehicle for best results). The SX30 can also transmit voice; simply plug any telephone into its RJ-11 jack. We have several packages available to suit your requirements and your budget.
